Laskasas proudly presents Magnolio House, a serene and contemporary residential project signed by Wood Estudio Interiorismo in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. More than a design story, this is a story of how tailored interiors and timeless furniture can come together to elevate well-being — and Laskasas' pieces play a central role in the atmosphere of its living room.
A design studio that listens, a home that speaks
For the team at Wood Estudio Interiorismo, every project starts with empathy — understanding the client and translating their lifestyle into spaces that feel as good as they look. With a deep knowledge of layout optimisation and material selection, the studio designed a home ready to be fully lived in, where aesthetics and practicality exist in perfect harmony.
Symmetry, structure, and softness in the living room
At the heart of Magnolio House is a 50-square-meter living room, elegantly divided into two main areas. On one side, the relaxation zone is anchored by a fireplace — the focal point — above which the TV is cleverly hidden behind an artwork-panelled sliding door. Low cabinetry and mirror-backed shelving on either side complete a symmetrical composition full of soft reflections and discreet sophistication.
It’s in the second area of this room that Laskasas takes the spotlight. Conceived as a reading nook, this space is home to three signature Laskasas' pieces: the Cosy Armchair, the Sophia Armchair, and the Sophia Ottoman. Their sculptural lines, soft textures, and timeless forms create a calm and enveloping atmosphere that invites slow living and quiet moments. To complement the client’s vast book collection without overwhelming the space, the studio opted for a curated mix of open and closed shelving — a decorative yet functional backdrop that allows Laskasas' pieces to shine even more.
